Nature's Odd Fellows

This wildlife video cam (above) of two very unlikely friends, a coyote and a badger, is taking the Internet and the world by storm. Dog lovers will recognize the coyote's "play stance" in this video, as if he's playfully saying to his badger friend: "Hurry up, buddy!" And the way the badger waddles after the coyote into the tunnel is so cute--even though he has four-inch claws.

This video that was taken in a San Francisco tunnel very recently has gone viral and began appearing on hundreds of news stations across the nation and Facebook just a couple of days ago. And people are marveling. But, Native Americans have known for eons that coyotes and badgers have a special relationship. Read about this amazing phenomenon in tomorrow's post:

The Magical Bond of The Badger & The Coyote.

These cameras are part of the Trust's research to track and understand wildlife migration through tunnels to avoid traffic and co-exist with large human populations.
